Ashok Gowreea is the son of late Namdeo and late Janna Gowreea. His is married to Chitrabye and is the father of Tarkeshwaree and Pratik.
Ashok is the disciple of Sadguru Paramhansa Nirvikalpanand and member of the International Instutute of Kriya Yoga. Ashok Gowreea is at present Head of Department of Marathi and Facilitator at MGSS Nouvelle France.
Ashok is one of the most talented theatre Actor in Mauritius. He bagged Best Actor Award for six times and Best Director thrice. He performed for National Programmes: Ganesh Chaturthi, Abolition of Indentured Labourers at Aaprawasi Ghat and for MFDC. Ashok is also a philanthropist and member of fifferent NGO’s like Befrienders, New Invaders Club, Sukhi Parivaar, etc.
